Environmental Comments: Steep talus slope, thickly covered in herbs. No seeps, but site is definitely moist (cloud fog?). Undulating slope, overall slightly concave. Many trees growing on large rocks. Marginal soil. No B horizon collected.
Evidence on wind/ice damage. Trees are relatively tall, but gnarly & contorted due to past ice events. Large canopy to north of plot...Thick blackberry.
